Of course, then I discovered we can’t e-file, and I had one envelope and only one old 44¢ stamp.

This morning it took me an hour to buy envelopes, correctly fill them out and seal them (7 tries), buy stamps, and mail them.

Sometimes there are benefits to having a brain wired differently with #ADHD.

Found at 11:13pm last night that an org I am involved in hasn’t filed taxes in years. No past paperwork either.

While it rested in its last days, it confided in me a great satisfaction with its work, and a firm faith in a continued life to come.

Never was it more great, nor more full, and we more grateful than during each Christmas season, where time after time it endured being stuffed with more than a fair share of its corrugated relations.

As such, we will deeply feel the loss of this most faithful vessel of recycling.
March 24, 2025 at 1:17 AM
A moment of silence please for the large recycling box in the garage. It has served our family faithfully for almost 10 years from its post next to the door, holding mass quantities of amazon cardboard, 12 pack containers, and flattened cereal boxes, with seldom a complaint.
