Controversial opinion, but watching Highlander (1986) made me realise just how much crossover there is with Twilight (2008) in terms of themes and style choices. I still to this day maintain my stance that we need to bring back miscasting actors with thick European accents.

Tonight I watched Paul Verhoeven’s Flesh+Blood (1985) after finding out it was a key influence of Kentaro Miura when creating Berserk (1990) and there were many similarities from this film reflected in the manga. The popularisation of Dark Fantasy in Japan could stem from this.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law felt like an interesting side project that was hamstrung by how it fit into the wider Marvel universe. It’s a shame that it likely won’t see another season but out of the litany of TV projects they require you to follow to keep up with the MCU, it felt the easiest to watch.

Today I’m tasked with syncing audio from wireless microphones that don’t have time of day time code with vision that wasn’t slated or labeled. Talent also managed to swap microphones by accident throughout the day, just to keep it interesting. I wonder if there’s a prize for solving this riddle?
