The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya has confirmed that TCU's Tabitha Ngao -- the Big 12 1000m champion -- is provisionally suspended for whereabouts failures. She was entered in the NCAA indoor championships in the 800m but scratched.

I'll echo everything David said below. No SLB = huge loss for running and anyone who wants to stay informed about the sport.
@fastwomen.bsky.social reported today that @slorgebutler.bsky.social has left @runnersworld.bsky.social. I agree with Alison that this is a big loss for running fans. Sarah always did great work and never shied away from a tough story. I wish her well at her new job.

The 2025 USATF Indoor Championships start in less than 24 hours. Still no word from USATF about how Saturday's events will be broadcast.

There is a broadcast crew in place, so there is optimism it will be streamed. But no word yet on when/where.

So far, this indoor season has produced 8 NCAA records, 6 American records, and 5 world records in events between 800m and 5000m.

Some news ahead of this week's US indoor champs: a number of high-ranking USATF employees have left the org within the past year, including 4 of USATF's 10 highest-paid employees from '23. That's lot of experience and institutional knowledge to replace.
