This post brings together some of my early thoughts on how we might thoughtfully explore the use of AI in the Open Source projects we maintain. By focusing on the right questions, we can stay grounded in our core values.

I spend a lot of time thinking about contributor experience, workflows, and triaging practices. Lately, I’ve been paying close attention to how AI is being used across personal, commercial, and Open Source contexts.
