Enjoying the conversation. I try and keep the world communicating. Based in Switzerland, my home for the last 35 years.
I’ve reflected long about posting. the constant proof of atrocities in Gaza means I have to call this abomination out. I have Israeli friends, friends from Islamic countries. It has to stop now and those who have perpetrated these crimes have to be held to account. #israel #gaza

I’ve always totally condemned the October 7 attacks on Israel as heinous but what Israel has been and is doing to the Palestinians is abhorrent. We cannot allow ourselves to normalize what is happening for the sake of our future generations.

It’s mega about maga. Poland thinking about nuclear weapons, UK stupidly dependent on UK for Trident. France offering nuclear umbrella. Trust in US is broken for good. If Americans voted for Trump you have to start to change your opinions of the US.

Well done Mr Branson. Europe and the US need to meet their obligations.
(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Will Vance’s speech go down as the end of US leadership. Kind of think so. And the moment that Europe got its act together.
Have written about JD Vance’s Munich speech. In what may prove to be the biggest week for European security since 1991, it’s time Europe listened to what Trump and his Vice President are telling us. open.substack.com/pub/goodalla...
We need to listen to what Trump and Vance are telling us.
This may have been the biggest moment for European security since 1991.

Based on the actions over the last two weeks, one has to ask whether the world can ever trust the USA again. Broken international agreements, critical domestic and international funding stopped, the loss of rights. What do you think folks?
