Go on Rachel. Freeze the Russian asset...
"… we are ramping sanctions… freezing known Russian assets… I don't actually mean the honourable member from Clacton."

I'm sure Rachel Reeves didn't say that to Nigel Farage "in a hurtful or insulting way" at least, "not with intent…"

I think that's what an alleged racist said recently…?

The latest pathetic attempt by Reform UK supporters to distance themselves from Nathan Gill and #ReformRussianBribes is to say ‘Reform UK didn’t exist when he took the bribes’.

UKIP > Independent > Brexit Party > Reform UK

That’s the path Gill and Farage took TOGETHER.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

The Labour government are freezing prescription charges in England again for the second year in a row.

In the year 2026/27 charges will remain at £9.90.

Any increase would likely have placed £12m of extra costs on people.

Already 89% of prescriptions in England are free of charge.

The Chancellor is extending the freeze on NHS prescription charges next year to keep prescriptions under a tenner, saving patients around £12 million next year.

The Tropical Forests Scheme launched at COP30 in Brazil is vital for protecting tropical forests.
The Government has reportedly decided not to contribute, an astonishing failure of leadership and a setback to our emissions reduction and international nature commitments.

Only 3 NHS trusts in England meet the 62-day cancer treatment target. Early treatment saves lives, yet many still face dangerous delays.

We need urgent action. That's why we @libdems.org.uk are demanding the 62-day target be made law—so no one waits too long for vital care.
Nearly all NHS hospitals are missing cancer targets - is yours one of them?
Experts say patients are being harmed by cancer diagnosis and treatment delays.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Fascinating that Nick Robinson names Robbie Gibb as the instigator of the coup at the BBC

He was promoted to ensure that Brexit went ahead

He is the sort of shadowy character who is essential to the unpicking of democracy
