German SIGINT vessel OKER is further north, in the Firth of Clyde.

If Houthi were intentionally involved, you’re right. Even though, rarely, subsea cable vandalism and theft occurred in the past, sub-state/militia would be a new types of actors.

I’d be cautious with the assumption of Houthi intent. 3 cables of the 2024 Red Sea incident (accidental spill-over of missile attack on MV Rubymar) were repaired with explicit support of the Houthi „govt“. www.datacenterdynamics.com/en/news/subs...
