Reading her piece in Dissent it dawned on me that what MAGA means by working class isn’t even really an identity EP Thompson sense, but a crude inheritance. “Meemaw worked in a coal mine, that’s why i’m a working class guy who employs a dozen subcontractors.”

Seems they are animated by aggrieved sense of not being normal and motivated to replace America’s multicultural polity with a white christian one by any means.
