Contracts exchanged this afternoon on our house sale and purchase, move on Tuesday. Weird to think I’m moving out of the area where I’ve lived all of my life. On a positive note though, we’ll get on the M6 at jct16 rather than 13 to get to Old Trafford in future.

Had estate agent and photographer here earlier, hell of a morning trying to get the house looking just right with the pup to contend with (heart rate 118bpm at one point). He took a shine to the photographer and had the zoomies just after I’d precisely positioned these cushions in the family room 🤦🏼♀️

The little ‘un (25 and 6ft 1 but the name stuck) is off to Bilbao this afternoon. Not jealous at all (sooo bloody jealous, he did ask if I wanted to go before he booked…but the puppy complicates things), not got a ticket but he’s going to have one hell of a good time regardless.

Sick of taking in parcels for next door, it’s several times a week. They’ll know there’s a delivery due and can change the date or delivery address, she’s usually in anyway but ignores the door, and it’s a few days before one of them collects it. Got their new 32” TV sitting in my hall today.

12 years ago today, I remember telling my son - then 13, now 25 - to enjoy it all because it might be a while before we won it again. Didn’t think we’d still be waiting after all this time though 🤦♀️

Anyone changed their phone and had to get the ticket office to change where their ticket is stored? I called yesterday, the fella said he’d put in a request to change it and it’d take around 10 mins to update the app. Got no way of knowing if it’s actually been done though.

Husband was determined that the puppy wasn’t going to be allowed on the sofas, after a week he decided that he could have one end of one of them.
He’s been here 2 weeks and last night I caught my husband putting a cushion under George’s head as he lay stretched out on two thirds of the sofa 🤫

Everyone, meet George ❤️ He landed on our doorstep at 4am after a long journey from Romania. He’s spent the rest of the night and most of this morning burning off 16 week old puppy energy after being in a van for 2 days. He’s already claimed my welly socks. I’m on my 258th coffee of the day ☕️

The shame! Got pulled over at security at LAX to have my bag checked because something dodgy had shown up on the scanner.
It was the 3lbs of Peanut Butter M&Ms I was bringing back. The guard didn’t look like he believed me when I said they weren’t all for me 🤭

I’m in Los Angeles. Flew in yesterday, awake 24+ hours with the travelling etc and despite that I’ve only managed 4 hours sleep 🤦♀️ It’s 4.20am, might do my nails 💅🏻
