Anyone planning to boycott shopping on Friday? It’s no big deal at all for me to give up a day of shopping but really, will this hurt employees more than the billionaire owners? What good will this really do? More symbolic than anything else?

Learning to cope with the orange menace at the helm. Current coping strategies: less news consumption, only the bare bottom facts, never listen to him, avoid all maga nonsense and followers whenever possible, and deep deep breaths. “this too shall pass” is the new mantra.

Can you remove a follower here on Bluesky? I see you can block an account but can you remove someone who is following you? If you block them, is that the same as removing them as a follower?

All of the vulgarian’s federal charges have simply evaporated. That’s it. No accountability. No consequences. It’s another disheartening outcome of the election results. For those who couldn’t have bothered to vote or voted for the price of eggs or pali-protest voted, this is on you.

I may be speaking into the void here but I’m thinking about how much hope I put into Mueller and then nothing, how much hope into the impeachments and then nothing, how much hope into jack smith and I’m sure that will be nothing. There’s nothing that holds the vile
