We also explore mobilization strategies (e.g., voting, fundraising efforts, online engagement, and event attendance). Our results suggest few differences by party, but highlight how platform modality may be leveraged for different mobilization tactics.

Results suggest a growing asymmetry in SM use, as conservatives grow their presence on alt-tech SM like Truth Social and Gettr (at the time, no Democratic candidates were on alt-tech SM). Republicans who were 2020 election skeptics/deniers were more likely to be on alt-tech platforms.

Brilliant scholar @shugars.bsky.social is our discussant. They highlighted some key trends, noting that many panelists raised similar question, including "when and how is it appropriate to use LLMs?" They also mention inequality challenges with using closed-source and expensive models.

We round the panel out with work by @damiantrilling.net on LLM agents. He and his team conduct 3 studies, some of which are fully simulated and some that are more hybrid. #ica25 @icacm.bsky.social

Miyoung Chong presents her work with @smithmarisaa.bsky.social and Om Sai on using LLMs for stance detection (zero and few-shot). They apply this to the case of CRT discourse.

Working with @m-dot-brown.bsky.social @meredithpruden.bsky.social and @martinriedl.bsky.social was a highlight of my year, and it was eye-opening to see our own experiences shared over and over again by our colleagues. It also reaffirmed my desire to build scholarly solidarity.

Our findings indicate a complex dynamic of online and offline activities. (3/n)
