🐾 His Tiny Highness is very much on the mend - lots of snuggling & fussing required obviously, but the silliest sausage is indeed getting back up to snuff one morsel of a snackerette at a time - thank you all so much for the care sent to this beloved little creature!

✨ A new project! This sweet sewing box was kindly rescued from a bonfire night burn pile for me, wafting of foist from the faded yellow velvet & someone obviously having sampled grey paints on the knackered veneer - perfect for a flower power makeover through the dreich days...

🌿 Home gathered flowers for Friday - the garden here at the tiny terrace whilst heavy with damp fog is in fine form offering up green leaves of grapefruit mint, the last few sprigs of flowering thyme, erigeron daisies, pink pom poms of thrift, & incredibly white fairy bonnets...
Not the normal vintage glass vase as that one is still holding mint, but another small coloured glass vase holding a motley collection of garden greenery on a stone step with a dark painted gate behind.

🐁 Christmas is on a 'no cheeses for the meeses' budget, jovially referred to as Merry Squeakmas, so stitched some crochet mice for to go with homemade gifts - these fluffy little friends are worked from botanically dyed wool with hawthorn, clove, & a mulled wine sugar mouse...

🐌 Barrages of fireworks have been booming through the skies for the last few nights, rudely interrupting His Tiny Highnesses sleeping & making him a scared little sausage, so snuggling down for a (hopefully!) calm & colsie night devoted to the beloved hound - catch up tomorrow!
A little anxious dog snuggled into blankets & cushions, with a seagull & ice cream soft toy - he looks timid but has been howling like a wolf as the bangs & booms have worn down his nerves - so everything dim & dark with the record player turning to try to out snug the scary fireworks!

🧶 Forgot to share the wartime knit inspired socks for little ghosties to sleep amongst safe in sock drawers - designed with ribbing & no heel to be most utilitarian, here worked in yarn botanically home dyed with fermented buddleja so included a simple subtle butterfly motif...
