Our study provides novel evidence via the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). It confirms the “too poor to go green” hypothesis: countries with GDP per capita below $4,260 struggle to curb CO₂ emissions, while growth beyond this point increases carbon intensity.

While focusing on the consequences of bullying (like utilitarianism does) might not always encourage people to help the victim, relying on their conscience (like the idea of synderesis) is a better way to get people to do the right thing when they witness bullying.
