You're so right and I find that such a weird, seemingly unchallenged "normal" aspect of western media, politics and beyond. There are some really good journalists who don't do this but they're outnumbered by those who don't see an issue at all... so odd

stupid question time (sorry) but are they wearing socks? And if so, is that for aesthetic reasons only or is it also functional in some way or another?
