Strangelove is an amazing film. The director Joe Dante likes to tell the story of how he saw it opening weekend and nobody laughed. They didn't know that the only way to handle it is to laugh.

Thanks for your write up. Is the movie still worth seeing or by not confronting reality is it just a gross attempt at entertainment?
