In fiction, we learn why people do things. Writers make sure to tell us what the character is thinking. In reality, it's much more complex and much less satisfying. The Minnesota shooter appears to have a rather complex and chaotic mindset, but we cannot know how much of what we see is true.

Reminder as a cis straight person I don't consider it my place to label myself an ally, or to tell LGBTQ+ folks that they're safe with me. That's for others to decide based on my behaviors and actions. It's entirely possible there will be differing opinions; there's no single certification board.

I remember reading an article speculating about RC aircraft and shipping containers being used this way in the 80s in an SF magazine. The logistics are immense, but the basic concept has been out there for a long time.
I wonder what else Ukraine put in place in the run up to this strike? Surprises?

Two quick thoughts about last night's strikes:
1) FSB now has to deal with the fact that there are millions of shipping containers all over Russia, some of which may contain "surprises"
2) Zelensky knew about this operation while sitting in the Oval Office being yelled at by Trump & Vance

This is really important. Do NOT use the AI summaries at the top of google searches. Ignore them. This is especially important if you don't have any prior knowledge about the topic, but also a good general rule.
Search sources, scrutinize them carefully and double-check with other sources.
