The rise in wellbeing days is indeed treating the symptom not the cause - I can't help but think we are coming at this from the wrong direction - what is it about our education system that is so damaging to the wellbeing of our staff? That needs fixing - and fast!

Does any school do a desktop exercise where staff are presented with possible safeguarding scenarios and the key people you might go to (HT, DSL etc) are sat at separate desks to see how it might play out and what they might do if they were unavailable?
