I don't know why people act like Shohei Ohtani doesn't have kryptonite. Whoever wins the ALCS just needs to unearth Wade LeBlanc for one last ride.

If you start Monty Python and the Holy Grail right now, it will conclude exactly at when the ALDS Game 3 between the Mariners and Tigers will (hopefully) start.

I just met Russ, who made the Naylor Hammer and brought it for the first time tonight. He plans to upgrade it, we hope with several years to work on it.

*So* many good Mariners signs and fan outfits these last few weeks.

Shoutout to this top-tier hater in attendance of the Angels-Astros series over the weekend.

I’ve not seen Sogard and Nick Allen in the same room recently, but Allen is rocking the look this year in Atlanta. images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload...

It’s a great day for a haircut and to run slowly & laboriously.

It’s also the best (and FINAL) day to vote on behalf of a better, affordable vision of Seattle we can all be proud of, not *just* those who are comfy in wealth/homes they bought in the 20th century!

And what type of creature is an otter? A sea creature. A Sea creature. And what's another word for a warm-blooded sea creature? A marine mammal, that's right. Marine, aquamarine, a hue of blue-green akin to teal.

Teal, which the Mariners call Northwest Green! Steven Kwan will be a Seattle Mariner.

Dispatching from Cooperstown for @lookoutlanding.bsky.social where Ichiro has just wrapped up answering questions for nearly an hour.

Spoke of visiting Cooperstown and the Hall throughout his career warmly: “there are certain emotions you need as a ball player…this place allowed me to refuel them.”

Taking over for Lou Trivino who has previously held the top spot, absolutely impeccable work by Tommy Kahnle

I went back and found what I wrote after 2017 about Tuffy Gosewich and… I wasn’t prepared for this to be surpassed! bsky.app/profile/kyle...

These are... non-pitchers, min. 30 PAs in a (full) season since 1961, coming into today. The worst offensive seasons in MLB history, cut short by one mercy or another.

Donovan Solano is now 0-3 today, moving him to a -63 wRC+ that is 11th-worst in the Divisional Era.

Any guesses for what this extremely amusing (to me, at least) list is of?

Recapping today's completely unhinged Mariners game for @lookoutlanding.bsky.social and the only preview/review I have for folks is this

Good question, different reasons for each guy!

For Veen, it’s part 1 and 2: he is not actually a top-100 prospect at this point, though he’s been one in the past.

For Dollander, the “up by opening day” threshold is not actually it, there’s about a week and a half of leeway, which they chose to use

I'm sorry, the Yankees broadcast just explained that the team re-designed their *bats* to just have denser, bigger barrels this year?

Is this new woodcutting technology? I assumed this was only not done because it was against some sort of rule?
