Cause I want to spread the word about this great wee game I made, I've thrown in a free copy of the Angelic West setting to anyone that clicks 'Follow' on our up and coming Fundraiser.

Free stuff. One click away.

(Also, do a silly wee dance ever time I get a new follower. Make me dance!)

Every Sunday I run a FREE online mobility class for nerds.
What makes it directly aimed at nerds?
Well, like, not much.
But it’s friendly, inclusive, and aimed at those wanting to get Back in the Game.

Sweden is such a modern country that even its fairytale creatures have access to a mobile phone.

Slipped in at the last minute to grab me a copy of Graham’s books.

Look at this guy. How could you not support his work!

I put this exact scam into a #CallOfCthulhu scenario I wrote.

Art imitates life….

3 days of #ChaosiumconUK.

🔹Running & Playing Games
🔹Hanging around with discord handles like we’re childhood friends
🔹Joyfully pestering @chaosium.bsky.social staff to make silly videos with me.

Honestly, not a bad way to spend a weekend

Some of the most cutting, insightful and useful reporting on the #TrumpTaxes is coming from this niche little #TTRPG news site I subscribe to:

A lot of my creative energy is quietly spent encouraging my wife to 'play' storytelling games with me.
She is incredibly creative, but has always had a block when it comes to telling stories.

So I wrote A Line at a Time, and we've started playing it as we walk.

Did I just watch too many mystery movies as a child or is there 100% definitely a hidden corridor behind this painting with a peephole by the eyes?

Been checking out the important sites while in Stockholm.

These days I dress like I work in a museum. 🏛️

And this week, I am in fact, working in a museum.

However, I am working as a children’s entertainer/pirate.

Maybe I can just stay here once the gig is done. Find an empty desk and get to work doing museum things…

It’s always fun when someone runs my modern #CallOfCthulhu scenario “Alpaca in the coffee” because some of the clues are online and I get a flurry of notifications while they’re playing.

After 6 months of blood, sweat & tears, @embersofhumanity.bsky.social has officially released.

I'm really excited about the community building around this game. It's a world and a system that people seem excited to play. I can't wait to see what the apocalypse holds for all of you.

I don't see why we have to remain bound to boring mediocrity. Break free! Grab a d17. Go wild!

I pick Rivers of London. A new BRP game from Chaosium. The system itself will be familiar to anyone who has played Call of Cthulhu.

What's interesting about it is that the new approach to skills has really solved a lot of the historical issues with BRP. Breathing new life into an ageing system.

Inspired to write about inclusive practice this evening on my cozy capitalism blog:

Some slightly more emotive language may be falling out onto the paper...

I love the story of the little people's village in Middlebery, Connecticut.
About 100 tiny houses, built by an entrepreneurial American as a visitors attraction. The site apparently feels incredibly eery and terrifying.
However, no-one can adequately explain the giant 'fairy throne' in the centre.
