His standard for loving our enemies borders on ridiculous. It's so idealistic and impractical that it's hard to take him seriously. But he meant it, and so did Jesus. #mlk

I don’t know what the future will require of us but I cannot find a justification for violence in Jesus’s teachings — only Love. MLK knew this, and as a war vet, I’m still struggling to see what this would look like.
