In the hours after she spoke with us, the genocide has escalated. Among the appalling number of people Israel has massacred today is yet another of her family members: the husband of a cousin who was herself murdered with her youngest children in 2023.

Most importantly, her book is a call to action of us all to do everything in our power to break that silence and end our complicity and the complicity of our governments and institutions that provide weapons, money, diplomatic cover, and other support to Israel.
