Lately, I find I even prefer taking public transit because I can listen to my audiobooks! According to @thestorygraph.com, I've burned through ten this year, all gripping thrillers by Sandra Brown (narrator's voice was sublime) & Karin Slaughter (so easy to follow along to Kathleen Early!) #booksky

So I quit Twitter back in Nov – closed my acct and all – and now Zuck has the gall to sport a $900K watch while saying that fact checkers are somehow preventing free speech, so it's okay for gays to be called mentally diseased again. I'm stuck–do I quit FB/IG now, losing touch w/friends abroad?

I had cancer in ʼ10 as a legal resident and taxpayer in the Basque Country. Had the operation (with anesthesia—no time limit!) 3wks after detection. 10yr of follow-up care. NEVER saw a bill, NEVER had to get a bean counter's approval. Americans deserve Medicare for all #DenyDefendDepose #eattherich

So I changed my ad settings on IG, and now I get messages saying "Please wait 5 seconds before continuing scrolling" to get me to watch the ad, and I have to say, it's the perfect signal for me to just close the app and do something more productive! Thanks for this, Instagram!
