Happening now is a rally for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, with his tearful wife pleading for his return after what she calls his kidnapping by ICE, which admits he was taken by administrative error but says nothing can be done now. Court hearing set for this afternoon.

Major police presence outside CIA HQ for what is described as a barricade situation. Not many details confirmed yet, but the response is big and route 123 is closed near the entrance of the headquarters.

About 30 minutes out from an update here at DCA about last night’s crash. Recovery efforts continue in the Potomac. Do not expect the airport to open today. More coming all morning at WTOP

Went to historic St John’s Episcopal Church across the street from the White House to talk with the Rector leading the Inauguration Day prayer service. The January 20 service is always private. No cameras allowed. This is the best insight on what will happen that morning.
