My vote is for The Six Napoleons or The Blue Carbuncle - still exciting, but with perhaps just a little more warmth than some of the most gothic, sinister episodes. Hope he enjoys whatever you choose!

Definitely! I'd somehow forgotten how unsettling the sound of them is, too - like a voice caught between old TV channels, emerging directly just inside your ear...
