Chris Mason is the worst BBC journalist in my lifetime. The pre-budget process is a non story that Mason and his chums at the Mail and Torygraph have tried to turn into a big story because they are annoyed Labour didn’t put up income taxes.

A public inquiry on the management of Brexit would set the record straight, and maybe the BBC could run an impartial series for the 10th anniversary of the vote, making it easier for the government to show the courage and leadership to take us back into the EU.

Imagine if BBC spent as much time on the dangers of climate collapse as they do on immigration. Imagine the public response when they realise what the real danger is to our children & who is causing it. Instead of anger at refugees there’d be anger at oil companies, media bosses, politicians & BBC.

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.

This could prove to be particularly awkward for Farage and Reform given the proof of Russian interference and recent conviction of their former head of Wales:
