I did this search:
www.google.com/search?q=ign...

If you right-click & "open image in new tab" you'll see that it's on the cdn.-subdomain. The landing page is www.-domain, the image is as it's embedded. This is fine, there's no SEO-value from having them from the same hostname.

Every now and then, the indexing team pings us about a site that's returning 404 on their homepage. "Do you think they're doing this on purpose? Maybe you can check."

Are they doing it on purpose? Like for YES, Reshare for YES.

Sometimes you just need to "touch grass" and disconnect. What can you do if you don't want to get up from your phone / computer? Reddit's r/grass isn't fun ("how do I get rid of this grass") - Reddit's r/geology is much better ("look at this cool rock!").

Rocks are great, and friendly.

A "getting fooled by the AI-hype" article touching on a general problem of not publishing findings when they were either wrong or just not strong.

(graph shows the gap between published positive & negative findings + the lower # of negative-findings.)

It looks like a normal ecommerce site to me. They could have handled the site-migration a bit more gracefully (and are probably losing a lot of "SEO value" by doing this instead of a real migration), but it doesn't seem terrible for users.
