Leonard Peltier had exhausted his appeals, and later it was discovered that the FBI manufactured the ballistics evidence used to convict him. The actual weapon was not recovered. Further, the other two men charged with the killing or found not guilty Because the action was found to be self-defense.

Every year I advocate for the release of Leonard Peltier in prison for 50 years for a crime that he did not commit. I hope that you could find time to advocate for this man. And help spread the knowledge that he has been in prison as a political prisoner in the United States.

I think you’ll get there. I also think the bigger fight is ending qualified/absolute immunity for police and prosecutors. That will take the teeth out of the apartheid perpetrated by Elon Musk and Trump.
