I met another tree today,
but he didn't have very much to say,
just stood on tiptoe, leaves aflame,
daring me to do the same. 🍂

Apparently bees can process time. So I'm going to hire a bee to manage my schedule next year, and see if that helps with my productivity. 🐝 www.cnn.com/2025/11/12/s...
Scientists now know that bees can process time, a first in insects | CNN
Bumblebees can process the duration of flashes of light and use the information to decide where to look for food, a new study has found.

If you see this, post your bird art. 🐦

For a while I was really into papercutting, I should do more of it.

An interesting look at the problem of insect smuggling 🪲🦋🪰 www.earth.com/news/traffic...
Trafficking animals is a well-known problem, but insect smuggling is equally bad and flying under the radar
Insect smuggling rarely grabs headlines, yet it has real consequences. The trades draw far less public concern than big‑animal crime.

This looks neat! Though with my luck, it would be entirely algae within three months.
I do not need anything else to 'look after' but this little underwater world I spotted at the local fish keeping shop is so appealing. I want one! 😀🐟
