Man, when you max out on work stress and catch one of THOSE toddler putdown nights, it’s hard to avoid cracking.
Is it learning to just say “who cares?” harder & compartmentalize? Feels like my spinning brain is flooded w/adrenaline from being screamed at by a small person and…just woof, ya know?

Try to convince me that this isn’t George Santos in a Mike Johnson mask, you can’t do it.
They don’t tell you how much parenting is just ignoring your kid’s irrational demand until they give up. Like sociopathic neutrality until they move on, since discussing or debating gets you nothing.
They also don’t tell you kids can go 1M mph into bed, terrorizing you, then just start snoring

Is the (very dumb) calculus to avoid any further “shutdown” drama, then have the republicans own a vote to mess up healthcare, then lay that pain at their feet with no responsibility on dems?
Voters don’t…think like that? And they’ll hate everyone in politics if their premiums go up 8x? Sigh.
