A solid day of drama in the world of sport.

@bclions.com squeak out a game winning field goal to advance to the #CFL West Final

@whitecapsfc.com punch the ticket to the #MLS West Semifinal in PKs

With no horse in the #MLB #WorldSeries, probably the best series I can personally remember

Drama!

I went to the Lions Gate Bridge to see the BC Lions logo on the lions but I had to add some @whitecapsfc.com flare to the mini lions on the overpass too.

Go teams go! Both have playoff games this weekend.

I'll replicate that here with five purchases I made yesterday in the following thread...

Harm reduction often gets conflated with treatment in discussions about addiction and toxic drugs

They are not the same thing

Countless lives have been saved through clean needles and overdose prevention sites but BC’s policies are always shifting

From shame and secrecy to Suboxone: B.C. drug users credit harm reduction for recoveries
The very phrase “harm reduction” can prompt a fiery debate the moment it’s mentioned, but for the British Columbians who’ve recovered from drug addiction, such policies have been literal lifesavers.

It costs a lot less to house people.

To carry 50,000 people per hour in each direction, a city needs a 175m wide road for cars.

Even if those cars are electric.

And then there’s all the parking.

OR a city can move A LOT MORE people in a lot less space, with A LOT LESS public money, emissions, pollution, noise etc.

Choices.

Simple.

Why yes, I’m randomly watching St. George Willawong vs Sunshine Coast of the NPL Queensland.

In fact, with 500+ viewers, I think there are more people watching on YouTube than at the match.

Trees on one end, turf that’s seen better days, no announcers, and just one camera that zooms and pans. 😍
