Well done, you've been very busy 👏.

I have my copy of your book. It came today. I'm impressed; you haven't only published, but it's gone to a reprint. It's an excellent study and the accolades are much deserved.

We have no taxis. It causes enormous amounts of confusion for tourists who have to rely on the kindness of strangers to get them to the next town. Hubby has rescued a few. They catch the steam train and miss the last trip back and get stuck 20kms from their car with no public transport......

The way it reads, it also implies that a tea bag was somehow a sanitary disposable. The mind boggles.

Grandma's down to 4 of her 8 children. And 2 of the living have had cancer as well. She is as hale and hearty a 100 year old can be. It'll be great to see her and all my cousins and the wider family. There's a lot of us.

I figured he was an older father, but just how old? I was trying to do the calcs. 😊

In one month, I get to go to my Grandma's 100th birthday party. I'm 53 and I'm not the eldest grandchild. If Dad hadn't been taken by pancreatic cancer in 2012, he would have just turned 75.

Happy birthday to the youngest looking 86 year old man I've ever seen.

Back in the days when I could eat them, I would have loved them as a gift 😊

I've a nasty intolerance to them, so I can't help 🤢

We can usually find someone and ask for them to have a checkout opened. But that's here; it's probably different over there.
August 10, 2025 at 11:51 PM
I refuse to use them for that very reason.

They would be contractors working for a company that your neighbours paid for the work to be done. Are there compulsory industry safety standards to follow? Is there an organisation that oversees workplace safety? The lack of safety equipment is most likely because it's not been provided by employer

A pneumatic drill! Painful for them and for you. I don't know if there's much you could do unless there are workplace safety inspectors. You could make a complaint.

Welcome back to the 19th century

Herbert Kaiser, you're very biosecurity aware and, as someone who spent a great deal of my ag science career working to protect our environment against invasive species introduction, I applaud you for working to raise awareness.

It causes a rare type of lung cancer. We get to hear about it because there is so much DIY home renovations in Australia and so many warnings about things in houses that can cause long term harm.
July 25, 2025 at 9:37 AM
Well that was a wild trip into Google land. 😊

They will suffer later from exposure to silica dust. You're right to be concerned about the lack of PPE.

It must be a special kale 😉

We want to be the Jetson's!!! The old cartoons had it right! We want the life of wealthy people in the 19th Century - those who had servants to do the mundane, so they had time to paint, play music, read extensively, and explore their passions. Let AI serve us, not enslave us.

I can understand the zucchini, but kale is feral is feral stuff. 🤮
