1. "... the security guards in Pearre’s office told him it was time to leave."
2. "They walked Pearre out of the building..."
... to mean "physically dragged?"

Could you say more about why the accelerated/rushed schedule is alarming? What further testing, evaluation, human-centered thinking, or end user training was needed before this system would have been ready to be safely, responsibly rolled out?
