Relatives are in a hard spot on 24th and Cedar. Today Little Earth neighbors, Sobriety Warriors and AIM came together to clean up and offer prayer songs. We don’t have the resources like the Gov but we do what we can. More help is needed.

Native community is often covered with some awful struggle but what often gets left out is how fun the community is. The Native American Community Clinic hosted a baby shower for families and the Indian Center hosted the Auntie Pickleball Tournament. Both fun and both Native AF.

Two years ago Little Earth and its allies achieved the biggest environmental win in Minneapolis- saving their community from arsenic exposure. Now elders and community are guiding EPNI in the safe development and land transfer of the historic Roof Depot site. actionnetwork.org/fundraising/...

It’s been nearly two years since community occupied the Roof Depot site to stop the demolition of the building to protect itself from arsenic exposure. February 23rd we celebrate the power of community but also its joy and vision for a hub of innovation and resilience. All are welcomed!

Our fall fundraiser didn’t make the $100k goal but you all still got us really close and all I can say is chi miigwech! The work is all about realizing the communities visions for the future of the Roof Depot Site. This is all about love and solidarity and we appreciate our movement.

EPNI hosted an intro into mycology and taught attendees the basics of indoor fungi cultivation! After building our own little sterile lab in the Little Earth gym, attendees learned how to successfully inoculate their own bag of grain with mushroom spawn to bring home.
