I think life is full enough of suffering. You want to keep it illegal for people to try and reduce a little bit of theirs, right at the end. I can't see how the obvious, colossal pain-reduction benefit is outweighed by these speculative, nebulous risks (which exist already).

Agreed. Disastrous. With (realistically) one traitor left, introducing the seer mechanic was a crazy risk. Whole finale was a procession with the least likeable winning :(
