Besides for paint and paintbrushes I think a hot glue gun, these little lights, and bionicles/legos may be my most used art tools.

Reminder that I'll be at NRG Elmhurst Nov. 1st and 2nd. I'm providing an embellished Underworld Cookbook print and an Embercleave AP with sketch for one of the event prizes. Unrelated, I've finally added the prelim and final for Kumonosu to my web store.

It may not be a good glue! Saw where someone recommended sealing gold leaf after. Do you do that and if so what do you use?

MCAtlanta was great! Thank you to everyone who stopped by. It was nice to see some old friends(Julio!) and see some new ones irl for the first time. I always feel lucky as hell to get into any of these events and even moreso MagicCon. Like always I forgot to take any pics... except of some new dice

I'm at MagicCon Atlanta along the back wall of Art of Magic. Brought Stuffed Bear and Kumonosu originals.

Kumonosu the Watchful for Through the Omenpaths. Art direction by Deborah Garcia. Copyright and trademark Wizards of the Coast. I REALLY wanted to do a piece 100% in acrylics but ended up having to do the glowy bits in oils. 18x24 on board.

Completely forgot to share that these playmats are available on my site. Also, I've now turned on ACH and Afterpay payments for those looking to grab this painting or others. www.joeslucher.com/products/p/n...

Finished Dragonfired. Highly recommend the series. Humorous take on fantasy economies and our own ridiculous economies. It has a lot of heart too. It's a must read series if you run an Acquisition Incorporated D&D campaign.

Had to leave for GenCon with only 100 pages left! Torture. Finished it and loved it as much as the first one. A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett

Daggerheart arrived! It will see niche play but I'm looking forward to running some games

Another player's character from a campaign I run this time the opposite end of the spectrum. A halfling bard. The goody two-shoes of the group. Acrylics.

Another quick 5"x7" acrylic painting this AM. This time one of my player's d&d characters. Imagine dracula but with a wisdom of 3 so he can be convinced of anything and struggles with object permanence. This is him "dressed up" by the party.

Another little 5"x7" acrylic painting done today. Dragonflies.

Another quick mini painting between larger paintings. These are proving quite fun. Maybe I should only paint 5"x7". Acrylics.

Another new little 5"x7" painting. This is becoming a regular thing, doing little one day palette cleanser between larger paintings where I can't get too noodly and do not worry about reference, etc.

New painting. 18"x24" on 1" cradled board. Join my website to see an unglazed larger resolution and process shots and reference material. Painting available to members now and will go live in my store in a week.
