Agree with this. Relatedly it has become much more unpleasant to be tall because there’s a group of people who really seem to think that you can turn it on and off and your intrusion into “their” space is just you being mean.
This is a subset of 'people don't know how to socialise post-covid', IMO. The lack of awareness of other people is visibly greater in public spaces like transport and especially shared experiences like gigs.
I really notice it because I'm a large 6'4 human who *can't stand* being in the way.

There was absolutely no good reason for FIFA to bundle 2034 World Cup into host selection vote for 2030. Completely unnecessary to choose 2034 10 years out. All done with little to no transparency. Basically Saudi Arabia really wants it and Gianni Infantino really wants them to have it. Governance.

People need to calm down about the Oreshnik missile. (Not about the strike itself, which was barbarous Putin chest-thumping.)
It's a medium range ballistic missile. Of course it's faster than the speed of sound because that's what ballistic missiles do. Don't fall for "AMAZING SUPERWEAPON" hype.
