My daughter is a chartered surveyor and works at a big City firm. She says the people who’ll keep their jobs are those who learn how to use AI. Surely, it’s the same for students at all levels: let it make the decisions and you’re sunk, but fail to use it effectively and you’ll be left behind.

If that is reflected in seats after the next GE (which will require us all to vote tactically), then we can hope for a new government which will work out and enact PR and then call an election - and while it’s working out PR, it can rejoin the Customs Union.

There is a natural reluctance to see Farage as the evil that he is, it sounds so hyperbolic and adolescently over-serious, but one only has to look at what’s happening in the US, and consider his uncritical adulation of Trump, to see that evil is precisely what he wants for this country.
