Is there like a Lego cafe where I can go build the new USS Enterprise set but not have to buy it for myself? Bc I really want to build it… but I don’t want to have to store it someplace.

Why did I, an AI critic, leave my 13-year-old agency to join a tech company with AI products? That's what @mallorywillsea.bsky.social asked me. And here is what I said. #HigherEd #HEMarCom

Having recently gone from being an entrepreneur for 13 years to working for a mid-sized global tech company I’ve been keenly aware of how unmotivated I am to do anything after the day job. Personal, societal, whatever. The system really is designed to keep us sedated when not generating capital.
I try to avoid "real organizers vs. fake/keyboard organizers" framings for the most part but one thing you learn quickly from organizing is how difficult it is to get people to do anything at all, how much you're competing against sociologically. people are overworked and tired

This will definitely help improve Americans’ declining trust of institutions of higher education.

Sometimes I dislike a product’s visual design so much I want to offer to fix it for free. But I don’t.

Pretty clear Stephen Miller, Noem, Hegseth and Trump are trying to provoke a Civil War at this point. What's interesting is they want to do it now, because even though they're unpopular, they seem to believe this is the most popular they'll be ever again. We can't let them win.
This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States.

America is on the brink of martial law.

Do not be silent.
This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.

Wireless companies in the US are horrible. Verizon has let their platform go to crap while T-Mobile has actively ruined theirs. And AT&T gives money + airtime to hate speech.

It sucks that it wasn't more but $1.5bn is a lot considering that's basically all the revenue they made this year so far, revenue that cost them billions to make. This is meaningful
For anyone who thinks that is a lot of money consider that their last round of funding was for 13B, and that normally big copyright infringement costs like 150k per, not the 3k per they are gonna pay. A fine is a price. For 1/10th of their funding they will keep and use this data. Fuckers.
