Been investigating a small stretch of coast in Kent.

Lost pets, The Ministry of Defence and the constant hum of electricity.

Here's the beautiful Ebony 4x5 I'm shooting on.

And I once thought the Tudor period boring and having the appeal of cardboard in a tarmac puddle.

Thank you for changing my mind.

#wolfhall is one of the best series I've had the pleasure of watching, next to the first season of The Terror which is also worth a watch.

Outstanding soundtrack too.

Well this is the best book I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Next body of photographic work in Stornoway?..

Thank you for constantly inspiring me to walk, listen, feel and explore Mr. Macfarlane.

Felled plantation Nr. Bellever

One of my favourite parts of making this new body of work in Dartmoor was dawn strolling past Bellever Tor to the adjacent plantation and slowly seeing these two trunks standing like arboreal monoliths escaping the shroud of mist.

saying that, as I understand it, OE didn't catch on much in Devon as it did elsewhere after the Anglo-Saxon invasion, so wasn't as widely spoken!

Roger was a wonderful fellow! Wrote this after having a lovely chat with him!

Some behind the scenes of shooting Dumnonia.

Trudging across the late-autumn landscape of Dartmoor, it was of prompt clarity to me that this was a landscape that demanded attention, an attention to which I’d never directed toward any landscape I’d stepped upon before.

A pleasure to meet Roger up at Merrivale on Dartmoor and hear about his calling to take of this bronze age site.

Few segments from a short film I made following artist and friend Hugo Winder-Lind as he forms and sculpts from a prehistoric beach, its eroding cliffline surviving as both tool and canvas.
