The success he had in our first year should have bought him an opportunity to turn things around with the new players coming in later in the season. There is nothing in Mellberg’s resume that tells us he can do it here.

I don’t feel Bradley Carnell was afforded the same opportunity a year after being first place in the West. Is this just the front office attempting to cover their asses at this point?

With the success Carnell is having in Philadelphia, getting rid of him before reloading the roster at the tail end of last season has to be Lutz’s biggest mistake.

Carnell proved he could win in this league and he’s proving it again now. I trusted Lutz when he let him go that he had a proven winner lined up. That clearly wasn’t the case.

It’s just disappointing because if you can’t confirm he’s offside, than technically he’s onside.
