This is insane by Yvette Cooper.

Spray-painting planes is not terrorism. Criminal damage, yes - but you cannot “terrorise” inanimate objects. It does not serve to cause terror in victims. Therefore it is not terrorism.

One of the many emergent issues with the phrase 'net zero' is that it became a proxy phrase for 'the politics of climate policies', and not 'stopping the heating of the atmosphere and oceans so that we don't fucking die'

Simple and powerful little video
Ahead of Germany’s election, with anti-immigrant sentiment rising, they released viral videos showing life without immigrants.

History proves that when a country starts erasing certain people, it doesn’t end well.

We’ve been living car-free for 21 months now. Swiss infrastructures really support it. I also lived many years in Sydney car-free. Do I miss having a car? Some days, absolutely. If I had a car, would I be 100 times lazier and unnecessarily reliant on it? Yeah.

Only the richest 1.5% of farmers will pay HALF Inheritance Tax spread over 10 years.

This is a protest funded by the obscenely wealthy who want to pay no tax at all.

The real pension crisis isn't a lack of savings, it's the risk of investing in assets like oil or properties liable to future flooding that are going to be worthless when you want your money back, and could leave future generations with nothing. Prof Richard Murphy reports.
Will your pension provide for your old age?
Forty five million people now have some form of private pension. But is that money what it seems, and is the system sustainable?
