So @booker.senate.gov's filibuster was misdirection to take the spotlight off this subcommittee hearing and so he wouldn't be there to have to do anything.
Booker is owned by Big Pharma and Big Tech.
His filibuster only broke the record of Strom Thurmond, but will ultimately do nothing.

Missing, however, was the subcommittee's very own ranking Democrat, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), who curiously scheduled his 25-hour filibuster right in the middle of the big hearing. Booker has proved to be a reliable ally to Silicon Valley after taking Big Tech campaign cash.
