Some of the infamous black #squirrel population of #Cambridgeshire & surrounding areas hang out in my garden. Black squirrels are the result of "interbreeding" between their grey cousins & the N.American fox squirrel, a study by @angliaruskin.bsky.social said in 2019 www.bbc.com/news/uk-engl...

• loads of starlings
• 2 blackbirds
• 2 pigeons
• 1 beautiful blackcap!
• 4 blue tits
• 1 robin
• 1 jackdaw
• 5 sparrows
• 2 great tits
• 3 squirrels (1 black - a Cambridge thing)
• 3 collared doves
