OTD in 2022 "Examples of large-scale disinformation campaign by the Western media, hyping the claim that Russia is planning to invade Ukraine" were debunked by my parody in Sweden.

And then we never invaded & all you imperialists were proved wrong. So you can believe us now about negotiating.

An interesting new take on Prigozhin’s influence!
My first academic paper is out (open access). It's a study of the organisation of Prigozhin's Patriot Media Group, based on a dataset of 818 CVs of its employees downloaded shortly after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. doi.org/10.1080/1075... The main findings are in the thread below.

Very true thread.
Thread on The Role of Academic Office Space in Fostering a Collaborative Research Culture.

1/ I’m always struck by how attempts to foster a collaborative research culture, led by university managers in UK higher education, feel disconnected from how collaboration between academics actually works.

This article's got it all: memes, lexical clusters, Western decadence.

But in all seriousness, a very interesting reflection on a new (and very old) Russian information war strategy.

There is surely no other journalist quite like Steve Rosenberg.
I miss Valentina & her kiosk. I miss her positivity & warm-heartedness. Valentina has been undergoing cancer treatment. To cheer her up I turned the Valentina’s Kiosk theme into a song & the legendary BBC Singers
have recorded it for her. Here is Valentina’s Song. Conducted by David Hill.
