My daughter-in-law walked in and said immediately, “I always forget how warm and cozy it always feels here.” And that made it totally worth the last couple months of trying to get things spruced up for the holidays.

I have adjusted my lazy Susan with success before.

Today is not that day.

My car has been in the shop countless times.

So has my husband’s.

My friend is going in for her third br. cancer surgery this month - for a tiny, “almost nothing” spot.

It’s all starting to wear on me.

But it shouldn’t.

I’m blessed. I’m blessed. I’m blessed.

I guess I’m at the age of life where the kind men I knew growing up who are my Dad’s age start dying. I’m kinda bummed. One gone this week and another on his way. My dad had a rough week. Heaven bound. We’re all heaven bound! My heart will again catch up with my head.

At the grocery today, one of my favorite, humble, on-task cashiers mentioned when I bought a more expensive ham that she was glad she bought one last week when they were on sale - it’d have to carry them the rest of the week. Off-handed, after paying Cash Advance, she’d have $9 to her name. +

Our church voted on a church search committee for an associate pastor last week, and so few of the people are what I would call “in the know” about denominational issues, or have the theological or character depth needed to test anyone else. My role will be praying. Obviously.

Hmmm, let’s see. For Jesus’s life incarnate, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and imminent return. For faith, for hope, for charity. For family and friends. For libraries. For a timely Bible verse. For the day’s simple pleasures. For a good book. For being reminded to remember these things.

So, can’t AI know keep me from seeing redundant content? Old reels, old historic stories?

DWTS gets on my nerves when the best dancers don’t advance because of a popularity contest with the phone voting. It’s not even fair at that point for me.

Just played piano @ a friend’s funeral - right foot shakes uncontrollably when I play that grand!! Part nerves, but I play every week on a keyboard & it doesn’t happen. Very hard to concentrate when it starts. I omitted a couple notes over it. Grrr. forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.p...

Don’t read Franklin Graham’s Facebook post today unless you want to be outraged. I’m outraged. It is triggering.

There’s a time and a place and this wasn’t the time or place for this “message”. Infuriating.
