Once in a while, I have opportunities that are incredible injections of positivity for my professional path. My visit to Lund last week was one of those.

The first keynote of my career, my first public discussion on AI, a new workshop format, and just pure happiness.

I'll be in town for work in two weeks and have time for a couple of meetings while I’m there.

Feel free to drop me a message if you're a scientist, communicator, or designer, and think connecting in this context would be valuable! 👋

If you're a designer/illustrator who works with scientists to make figures for publications, this might be interesting for you. 👇
Can AI train on my openly licensed research? Do I retain copyright if I choose a CC BY license? Why can’t I reuse a figure from my own paper?

I collected chopstick sleeves at every restaurant, together with their business cards (also common practice there), when I went to Japan. I find them fascinating. They live in my journal now, among pictures and illustrations of my experiences.

Really interesting read for Japan lovers. 👇
