Once in a while, I have opportunities that are incredible injections of positivity for my professional path. My visit to Lund last week was one of those.

In this issue, Bejarano et al. use single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial analysis to construct a vascular atlas of primary and metastatic brain tumors, revealing distinct alterations in endothelial and mural cells. Glioblastomas undergo substantial vascular remodeling compared to low-grade gliomas, while brain metastases exhibit even greater permeability and increased immune cell interactions. I collected chopstick sleeves at every restaurant, together with their business cards (also common practice there), when I went to Japan. I find them fascinating. They live in my journal now, among pictures and illustrations of my experiences.
