Bonus: If I were on the red carpet I would wear this archival 1993 Fall/Winter Versace (or at least the shirt from it) as a reference to Sailor Uranus (on the right) from Sailor Moon. I love fashion and especially the way it references art, media and history!

I LOVE archival looks, first of all. I think Chappell has done a great job making this her own, with the evening gloves cut to show her nails and the drag makeup! I also just love this piece and the really fun skirt details on the ballerinas.

I couldn't find the designer for this dress which is a real shame because it's amazing! I love the way the simple silhouette lets the imagery take the stage, the intricate work with the cowrie shells and of COURSE the iconic photo of Grace Jones. What a dress!

I'm also over suit jackets with no shirts, except here Janelle is making me eat my words! I love the silhouette of the oversized jacket and I think it adds something fresh to the tired look. I'm also head over heels for the over-the-shoulder chain.

I am not a fan of cutouts and I think they're really overdone on the red carpet but this makes me take back everything I've ever said about them! I love the simplicity of the gown and the way she's accented with the jewelry and ESPECIALLY her nails.
