“Quiet piggy”

“You’re ugly inside and out”

“Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person?”

This is how the President speaks to female journalists.

The men in the room need to stand up for their colleagues.

Demand better.

Don’t let him demean women this way.

This is the second largest payout from a private university to the Trump admin yet, second only to Columbia’s $200m

Since when do Americans “do business “with their government in this fashion?
How did the @nytimes.com editors let this sentence appear?

"Critics have likened Mr. Trump’s approach to extortion, while others have chalked it up as a cost of doing business with this administration."

Reestablishing independence at the Department of Justice will be key, so maybe this will require Congress, but one thing that's going to have to happen is the cancellation of every agreement between the DOJ and universities from the second Trump term. And investigations of university administrators.

One of the most used "tools" in the administrations arsenal is accusing your opponent of what you are doing. This could work, maybe, if not applied to every single thing ever. Stephen Miller, pretending to be Trump, posting about the use of Autopens pretending to be Biden, is a little too meta.

It’s worth remembering that Hegseth came to political prominence advocating for U.S. servicemen accused of war crimes.

And if you haven’t listened to it, I highly recommend listening to this podcast about the (failed) war crimes prosecutions for the Haditha Massacre.

This is a highly unusual order from a Secretary of Defense, and it’s almost certainly a war crime.

In the strike in question, two people survived and were clinging to the side of the ruined boat, and a second mission was spun up to execute them.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Breaking News: The two National Guard members have died.

Donald Trump told us there was zero crime in D.C., though. It’s interesting how reality works.

They would still be alive if they had remained in West Virginia, but their governor deployed them for a political stunt, unfortunately.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
