That's incorrect, you are mixing everything. The Belgian State doesn't collect any interest on the frozen assets as these assets are in a private company, Euroclear. The State receives taxes from Euroclear and these taxes are used to repay the G7 loan.

What BS? There's Russian money in many European countries. Did you see your government asking Danish banks to loan money to Ukraine without any warranty that they will be refunded one day? Do you think that they would do that??

All these comments from people not knowing the problem... 🙄 This money is in a private company, Belgium government can't push them to loan this money without warranties. And it's easy for other countries to push for this, and leaving Belgium facing alone the potential consequences in the future.

Il n'y a pas d'ailes francophone et néerlandophone dans les partis. Ce sont des partis séparés, qui peuvent se retrouver l'un dans la coalition au pouvoir, l'autre dans l'opposition...
