Congratulations to Grenada🇬🇩 for officially ratifying the #BBNJ Treaty.

We are now closer to the goal of 60 ratifications needed for the Treaty to enter into force.

Follow progress and urge more nations to join the #RaceForRatification. https://highseasalliance.org/treaty-ratification/

You’re never too old to get star-struck. Jane Fonda just gave a stirring speech to the BBNJ PrepCom urging states to keep up the momentum toward 60 ratifications.

Great news. NZ has confirmed it will move to ratification of #BBNJ. There is still a way to go, but this is the first step and is very welcome. 🤩🌊

I’m so sad about the news that #Marsden grants will not be funded for Soc Sci and humanities (incl law) in NZ. I’m even sadder by the people crowing about it on social media. SS/H is needed to understand our world and make it better and there are many grants focusing on economic/tech issues.

Hi everyone. Much as I love my ocean friends on X, things are pretty awful over there. So, I’m hanging out with you all now 😊
